This event features a guided hike through Fernbank Forest, celebrating the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each hike covers various topics, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.

Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers

Important information for participants:

• Hikes occur rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. Participants should check the weather and dress accordingly.
• The hike lasts approximately two hours, weather permitting.
• The terrain is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
• This hike is not suitable for strollers.
• In case of inclement weather, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will receive an email notification the day prior to the scheduled hike regarding any cancellation and will be issued a refund.
