Community Bulletin: Mother-Son Dance
The City’s Recreation and Parks Department will host the annual Mother-Son Dance on Friday, May 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Studio Theater in City Springs. This event is designed to celebrate mothers and mother figures in the lives of young residents.
Participants can expect an evening filled with dancing, games, dinner, refreshments, and prizes. Each boy will receive a souvenir photo and a goody bag. The event will feature music from a live DJ, with a selection of popular tunes for both mothers and sons. Various activities, including dance contests and musical games, will also be available. The dress code for the evening is semi-formal.
Ticket Information:
- $40 for a Mother-Son Duo
- $10 for Each Additional Son
- Reserved Table Option: $200 (includes admission for up to 8 guests/4 Mother-Son duos). Reserved tables ensure a private area for groups, and reservations should be made by one individual on behalf of the entire group.
Seating will generally be open, although a limited number of reserved tables will be available for those wishing to stay together. Guests are advised to keep personal items with them, as tables will be refreshed between guests.

Tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door. Early registration is recommended to ensure participation.
