In partnership with the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta, a musical performance will take place in Day Hall at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, celebrating the arrival of spring. The evening will feature the Vega Quartet, oboist Alexandra Prior, and pianist Julie Coucheron.
The program will include selections that evoke themes of flowers and gardens, featuring: “Spring” by Antonio Vivaldi, “Flower Duet” by Léo Delibes, “Gardens in the Rain” by Claude Debussy, “The Flower-Clock” by Jean Françaix, and “Waltz of the Flowers” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
This event is included with Garden admission or membership.
