The 2026 community exhibition features the theme “Absurdity,” inviting artists to explore the space between logic and lunacy. This theme highlights the tension between truth and disbelief, clarity and confusion. Like a funhouse mirror, the distortion of reality can evoke feelings that are both amusing and unsettling. Artists are encouraged to reflect on how absurdity can derail genuine intentions, inspire laughter, and foster connections among strangers. Beneath its contradictions lies a levity that reminds participants that even amidst chaos, there is room for solidarity and shared understanding.
The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, March 27th, from 6:30-9:00 PM, featuring light refreshments and first access to the exhibition. All artwork is for sale unless otherwise indicated.
