Binary Code Hearts
Friday, February 13
All day
McDonough Public Library
On February 13, McDonough Public Library will host an all-day event for Valentine’s Day, featuring a self-guided activity focused on screen-free coding and crafting. This program is designed for children aged 6 to 12.
Participants will explore the concept of binary code, with each letter of the alphabet represented by a unique combination of the digits 1 and 0. Using this code, children will spell out short Valentine-themed words with pipe cleaners and beads of various colors, ultimately creating a heart-shaped decoration.
