The upcoming season opener at Spivey Hall features acclaimed pianist Richard Goode on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Goode is widely recognized for his profound interpretations of Classical and Romantic music, showcasing his extraordinary emotional depth and expressiveness.
The program will include Mozart’s Sonata No. 8 in A Minor, K. 310, as well as a selection of brief pieces from composers such as Gesualdo, Byrd, Rameau, Gluck, Bizet, Paderewski, Schubert, and Janáček. Additionally, Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze, Op. 6, will be performed.
Single tickets for this performance will be available starting August 4, while subscriptions for the season are already on sale.
