Celestial Perspectives, a solo exhibition by artist Jess Self, is featured in the Terri Strickland Cole Galleries at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. This installation showcases textile artwork that transforms the gallery into a multi-dimensional space, inviting viewers to explore a visually engaging experience. Self’s work intricately weaves various patterns and techniques, creating a captivating reflection of humanity’s narratives through textiles.

Jess Self, a sculptor and educator based in Decatur, GA, utilizes materials like wax, wool, wood, and textiles to examine themes of spirituality and human experience. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from Georgia State University and has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally.

The exhibition runs from June 4 and is open to the public during the following hours:

– Monday: Closed
– Tuesday – Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
– Friday – Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Admission fees are as follows:
– Adults: $10
– Military Adults, Seniors (65+), and Students (age 6-18 or with College ID): $8
– Free for members and children under 6.
