A firearm safety class is available for individuals interested in learning basic handgun operation and marksmanship. The class includes a session on the Cardinal Rules of Firearm Safety and fundamentals of marksmanship, followed by an optional live fire session overseen by certified law enforcement firearms instructors. Students are welcome to bring their own handguns, and loaners are available for those without one. Eye and ear protection will be provided. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes and a cap, and are advised against bringing rifles, shotguns, antique guns, or Sig Sauer Model P320s.
