A firearm safety and marksmanship class will be offered, focusing on basic firearm safety, handgun operation, and marksmanship. Instruction includes a classroom session covering the Cardinal Rules of Firearm Safety and marksmanship fundamentals, followed by a controlled live fire session supervised by state-certified law enforcement firearms instructors.
Participants may bring their own handguns and must supply their own ammunition. Loaner handguns are available for those without one, with ammunition purchased separately at the gun range. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and should bring a baseball cap. Shirts should have a high neckline. Note that rifles, shotguns, antique guns, and Sig Sauer Model P320s are not permitted.
