A new exhibition titled “Marietta History Center at 30” is now open at the Marietta History Center, celebrating three decades of the museum’s journey since its founding in 1996. This landmark retrospective showcases the museum’s growth and highlights its role as a key historical resource for Marietta and Cobb County.

The exhibition is structured into four chronological chapters, reflecting the museum’s evolution. It provides an insider’s view of how the museum operates, emphasizing the vital contributions of volunteers and detailing the process by which artifacts become part of the permanent collection. Special attention is given to the Kennesaw House, a historic building that has witnessed significant events over the years, including the Civil War.

The exhibition began on January 31st and will continue through late Fall 2026. Admission to the exhibition is priced at $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors (60+), while members, children under 5, and active military personnel and veterans can enter for free.

For more information, visit the Marietta History Center’s website at https://www.mariettahistory.org/. The center is located at 1 Depot St NE, Marietta, GA, and is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on designated days.
