Strand Academy presents “Swords & Soliloquies: A Shakespeare Tabletop Camp,” an exciting summer opportunity for rising 6th to 12th graders interested in theatre and storytelling. This camp will take place from July 13 to July 17, 2026, daily from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta, GA.
Camp participants will dive into Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” through a blend of acting, improvisation, and tabletop role-playing using the Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition rules. Activities will include analyzing characters and themes, collaborative improv, and developing original character designs inspired by both Shakespeare and fantasy storytelling. Each day will feature movement, voice work, and guided tabletop sessions, all aimed at enriching participants’ creative skills.
