The Atlanta Botanical Garden will host a series of live performances featuring notable children’s musicians and storytellers. This engaging program will take place on Fridays from May through September at 10:00 and 10:45 a.m.
The program will highlight garden-fresh summer fruits with Mrs. Alyssa, who will present music that celebrates the season’s harvest. Alyssa Easterly Miller, a former New Yorker, brings her infectious enthusiasm and vocal talent, having taught numerous children’s music classes and composed nearly 20 original songs inspired by nature.
Admission to the event is complimentary with a Garden Membership or regular admission; no reservations are necessary.
- The program will be held on the Great Lawn under the shade of the elm trees.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or ground cover, as the grass may be damp in the morning.
- A program greeter will be present on the Great Lawn starting 10 minutes prior to each session.
In the event of rain, cold temperatures, or other inclement weather, the program may be canceled or relocated indoors. For updates, inquiries can be directed to classes@atlantabg.org.
