The Atlanta Botanical Garden will host a series of live performances featuring some of Atlanta’s most cherished children’s musicians and storytellers. Performances are scheduled for Fridays from May through September at 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Mirai Kanai will present the dynamic art form of Eisa, allowing attendees to experience the vibrant rhythms and traditions of Okinawa. Originally performed to honor ancestors during Obon festivals, Eisa has transformed into a year-round celebration of Okinawan culture, characterized by synchronized movements, spirited shouts, and the deep, resonant sounds of small hand drums and large taiko drums.
Entry is complimentary with a Garden Membership or Admission; no reservations are necessary for the shows.
- This program will take place on the Great Lawn, under the shade of elm trees.
