The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition showcases Latinx and Hispanic artists. Titled “Placita Latina v.6: Puentes (Bridges),” this exhibition celebrates the role of art in building understanding, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering dialogue. Utilizing various artistic mediums—including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media—the exhibition examines how art connects past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual narratives with collective identity.
In an era marked by divisions, “Puentes” serves as a reminder of shared humanity, inviting reflection on connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange through creativity.
A closing reception will take place on Friday, October 23rd, from 6-9 PM.
