The upcoming walking tour, led by local artist Peter Ferrari, will explore new murals created for the Forward Warrior festival, an annual event founded and curated by Ferrari. This event will take place at the High Museum in Atlanta.
During the tour, participants will walk through the historic Cabbagetown neighborhood and receive an introduction to the murals that line Wylie Street, as well as insights into the artists behind these works. Ferrari will also discuss his curatorial process and the evolution of the festival.
The tour will begin at the intersection of Wylie Street S.E. and Carroll Street S.E., covering approximately one mile. Limited street parking is available throughout Cabbagetown. Assistive listening devices will be provided, and lightweight collapsible stools can be requested in advance.
