The Southern Museum hosts a Sensory Friendly Afternoon, creating a welcoming environment for visitors with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing issues, or other special needs. The museum invites all ages to explore at their own pace, with general admission included and free entry for members.
Activities include two themed story times at 3 PM and 4 PM, along with an exhibit connection throughout the afternoon:
