Cyanotyping Workshop at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta
Cyanotyping is a photographic printing process where objects are placed on photosensitive paper and exposed to UV light, resulting in distinctive blue-and-white images created by sunlight. This hands-on workshop will start with participants creating traditional cyanotype prints using either their own objects or selections from a curated collection of nature-inspired materials provided.
Following the initial printing phase, participants will enhance their prints through various creative interventions, including staining and hand-drawn elements, aiming to transform the classic cyanotype process. Attendees will leave with a collection of unique prints and a deeper understanding of alternative photographic techniques.
This workshop will take place at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
