The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition showcases Latinx and Hispanic artists. Titled “Placita Latina v.6: Puentes (Bridges),” this exhibition celebrates how Latin artists foster understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and create dialogue through various forms of creative expression, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. It emphasizes art as a bridge between past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual stories and collective identity.
In a time of division, “Puentes” encourages reflections on connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange, highlighting art’s role in uniting communities. A closing reception is scheduled for Friday, October 23rd, from 6-9 PM.
I was told there would be snacks.
