Eco Printing Workshop: Explore Sustainable Artistry – Atlanta Botanical Garden
AEJuice I Want It All Bundle – Animation Toolkit

This workshop offers participants the opportunity to create unique plant designs on silk through eco printing, which involves imprinting images of leaves, plants, and flowers directly onto protein fibers using a water bath process. Participants will design their own colorful silk scarves utilizing plants they bring from home. The workshop welcomes individuals of all skill levels.

Recommended plants to bring include high-tannin leaves such as oak, maple, rose, hickory, sumac, and blackberry. Additional suggestions for colorful designs include eucalyptus and flowers like carnations and daisies. However, thick, woody plants or those with waxy leaves, such as camellia and magnolia, are not advised. Attendees should also bring an apron or smock; gloves will be provided.
