The Young Professionals will host an event at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, featuring an exploration of I SPY! Walter Wick’s Hidden Wonders. Attendees will participate in a scavenger hunt inspired by Walter Wick’s extensive body of work and will have the opportunity to connect with members of the Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s Young Professionals while learning more about the exhibition from a High Museum of Art docent.
The ticket for this event includes a reserved spot for the evening and one complimentary drink ticket. Participants will have access to both I SPY! Walter Wick’s Hidden Wonders and Los Porfiados (The Stubborns). Additional drinks will be available for purchase at a cash bar.
This exhibition represents the largest survey of Wick’s work to date, showcasing his unique storytelling approach through popular pieces such as Yikes!, Clouds, and City Blocks from I SPY Fantasy. It will also feature rarely seen works, including early photographs of optical illusions in nature and various three-dimensional models that serve as the basis for his photographs. The exhibition explores themes that have captivated Wick, including miniature worlds, optical illusions, “I spy” games, puzzle challenges, and the wonders of science.
