The High Museum in Atlanta will host an exhibition featuring nearly two hundred works from Isamu Noguchi’s career. Although Noguchi declared in 1949, “I am not a designer,” he was an internationally acclaimed artist who actively engaged with the possibilities of design across various mediums, including architecture, industrial design, ceramics, furniture, lighting, stage sets, and landscape design. This exhibition will include sculptural models, unrealized projects, and notable furniture pieces, presenting Noguchi as a multinational, interdisciplinary artist and designer who contributed to a more open and inclusive world.
Capacity for this event is limited, and preregistration is required. Interested parties may register by visiting the High Museum’s website or by contacting Member Services at 404-733-4575 (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.).
