Fernbank Forest at Fernbank Museum
The Morning Hike offers a guided experience through Fernbank Forest, celebrating the unique ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Topics may vary with each session and could include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, among others.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
Important information for participants:
- Hikes will take place rain or shine, unless hazardous weather conditions arise. Attendees are advised to check the weather and dress appropriately.
- The hike is expected to last approximately two hours, weather permitting.
- The terrain of the forest may be uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the event of inclement weather, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will receive an email the day prior to the scheduled hike to notify them of any cancellations and refunds.
