The Atlanta Botanical Garden will host a series of live performances featuring some of Atlanta’s most cherished children’s musicians and storytellers. These shows are scheduled for Fridays from May through September at 10:00 and 10:45 a.m.
Led by teaching artists from The Atlanta Opera, Opera Storytime introduces young audiences to the world of opera. The program aims to develop essential early literacy skills through singing, playing, talking, and reading. Established in 1979, The Atlanta Opera has over four decades of experience in celebrating the art of opera, collaborating with world-class singers, conductors, directors, and designers.
Attendance is free for Garden Members or with general admission; no reservations are required for the shows.
- The program takes place on the Great Lawn, shaded by elm trees.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or ground cover, as the grass may be damp in the morning.
