The Atlanta Botanical Garden will host a family celebration focusing on the importance of bees, butterflies, birds, and other animals that pollinate plants, which are essential for many fruits and vegetables.
Schedule: June 26, 10 a.m. – noon
Fee: Free with Garden admission
Musical Performances: Jammin Junebugs featuring Alyssa Easterly.
Performances will take place at 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on the Great Lawn. Attendees can enjoy interactive music with Mrs. Alyssa and her garden puppet friends, the Junebug Pollinators.
Activity Stations – Open from 10 a.m. to noon
- Art Station – Participants can dissect a flower for decoration.

- Pollinator Dress-Up Station
- Bubbles and Bouncy Toys
- Pollinator Scavenger Hunt
- Seed Planting – Children’s author Brittany Petish will guide participants on how pollinators assist flowers in growth while allowing them to plant seeds to take home.
- Bee Discovery Station and Honey Tasting – This station offers an opportunity to learn about bees and sample local honey.
