6-Week Watercolor Course

Tuition: $160 (excludes materials)
This course provides an opportunity to explore watercolor painting while developing an individual artistic style. It is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience, emphasizing color experimentation, texture, and technique. Participants will learn in a relaxed environment, allowing for personal artistic growth. The course will be led by Sylvia Cross, a local artist with 25 years in the Atlanta arts scene, who has also lived in Costa Rica and Italy.
Topics include:
- Color mixing, mark making, and drawing with a paintbrush
- Values, scale, and page placement
- Glazing techniques and painting to music
