This watercolor class offers an opportunity to explore the medium while developing individual artistic styles. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, the course encourages experimentation with color, texture, and technique in a supportive environment. The class is led by local artist Sylvia Cross, owner of Sycamore Place Gallery, who has been involved in the Atlanta arts scene for 25 years. Instruction will cover:
- Color mixing, mark making, and drawing with a paintbrush
- Values and scale, as well as page placement
- Glazing techniques and painting to music
