This course offers an introduction to the foundations of drawing through a hands-on approach. Participants will develop essential skills in observing form and light, as well as in creating depth, texture, and expressive lines. It is suitable for both beginners and those looking to enhance their techniques. The course aims to foster greater confidence, curiosity, and a solid foundation for further artistic pursuits.
This course will help artists:
- Understand the basic elements and principles of drawing
- Explore line quality, value scale, positive and negative space, perspective, measurements, and composition
- Experiment with various techniques and materials
- Extend creative expression beyond preconceived boundaries
- Develop multiple approaches to drawing that enhance accuracy and confidence
