The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition showcases Latinx and Hispanic artists. Titled “Puentes” (Bridges), this exhibition celebrates how Latin artists foster understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and create new pathways for dialogue through various forms of creative expression, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. It emphasizes art as a bridge between past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual stories and collective identity.
In a time when communities may feel divided, “Puentes” encourages reflection on themes of connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange. A closing reception is scheduled for Friday, October 23rd, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
