The latest installment of the unique exhibition celebrating the book format, titled The Book As Art: Ghosted, will open with a reception on Friday, September 11, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments and be among the first to experience over 60 impressive artworks from across the United States featured in this show.
This exhibition explores the themes of ghosts in stories and folktales, as well as the modern concept of being “ghosted” in social media. Artists will investigate the relationship between physical books and their interpretations in the digital age, challenging viewers to consider the transformation of language and ideas beyond the printed page. The exhibition invites interpretations that celebrate both the macabre and the mysterious, merging familiar concepts with fantastical elements.
