The Wise Choices Workshop is designed to educate students on making informed choices regarding alcohol and other drugs. This three-hour course is conducted by the Center for Addiction Recovery, Prevention & Education, with instructors specializing in addiction prevention and education. Referrals to this workshop come from various sources, including the Student Conduct & Academic Integrity, the Department of Fraternity & Sorority Life, Housing & Residence Life, and the Department of Athletics.
Participants in the Wise Choices Workshop will incur an administrative fee of $85.00, which will be charged to their Owl Express accounts after the completion of the workshop. This fee must be settled within 30 days to prevent a Bursar’s registration hold on the account. Payment options include online through Owl Express using web-check or credit card, or in person at the Bursar’s Office via cash, check, or money order. Participants are advised to wait for an email notification confirming the posted charge before attempting to make a payment.
