Strand Academy is set to host “Swords & Soliloquies: A Shakespeare Tabletop Camp,” an engaging summer program that merges theater, character design, and tabletop role-playing. From July 13th to July 17th, 2026, students entering grades 6 through 12 will dive into the world of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth through acting, improvisation, and story-driven gameplay based on Dungeons & Dragons.
Campers will have the opportunity to analyze characters and themes from the play, engage in collaborative improv, and develop original character designs, including costume concepts and visual motifs inspired by both Shakespeare and fantasy storytelling. Each day includes activities in movement, voice, character work, and guided tabletop sessions that shape the narrative experience.
This camp runs daily from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre, located at 117 N Park Square, Marietta, GA. Tuition is $350 after May 1st, with an early bird rate of $310 available. For more information, visit the Strand Academy website.
