On December 4, 2026, at 7:30 PM, Daniil Trifonov will take the stage at Spivey Hall for an evening of captivating piano performance. Recognized as one of the leading pianists of today, Trifonov, a Grammy® Award winner and Musical America’s 2019 Artist of the Year, is known for his exceptional technique and deep connection to the music.
The concert will feature an engaging program beginning with works by Handel, Stravinsky, and Schubert. Following that, Trifonov will present vibrant pieces from the Americas, including his own composition, “Tango,” and wrapping up with Villa-Lobos’s “Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4,” showcasing a rich blend of rhythm and color.
