The Mill Village Walking Tour is scheduled for September 19, October 16, October 17, and November 7, 2026. This 1.5-hour tour offers insights into life in a mid-nineteenth-century mill village, taking participants through Sloan Street, Founders’ Cemetery, and Old Mill Park. Guests will learn about the struggles of millworkers, including working conditions, pay, and housing, and will hear about the 1864 arrests of nearly 400 residents. The tour begins at the historic Roswell Square pavilion. Tickets are $12 and must be purchased in advance.
