Event Announcement: Mickey Thomas Concert

Location: City Green
Mickey Thomas, renowned for his powerful vocals in 80s hits with Starship, will perform iconic songs such as “Fooled Around and Fell in Love,” “We Built This City,” “Sara,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”
Schedule:
- 4:00 p.m. – City Green opens
- 6:00 p.m. – Food Trucks open
- 7:30 p.m. – Opening Act
- 8:30 p.m. – Music Begins
Seating Information:
- Reserved tables may be available for purchase.
- Lawn seating is free and open to all.
Event Guidelines:
- Public restrooms will be available.
- Earplugs can be obtained at the Concession Stand/Bar tent at no charge.
- Attendees may bring blankets, lawn chairs (preferably low-backed), and umbrellas. Umbrellas must be lowered when the music starts.
- Outside tables and tents are not permitted. Existing bistro tables and chairs must not be moved.
- Pets are not allowed; service animals are permitted.
- Fire candles are prohibited; only LED battery-powered lights are allowed.
- Smoking or vaping is not allowed.
- Updates regarding inclement weather will be communicated through social media.

Parking Information:
- Vehicles parked on the street or in the South Lot must register using the QR code to avoid parking citations.
- Parking Locations:
- City Springs Parking Deck – 1 Galambos Way (access via Mt. Vernon Highway or Sandy Springs Circle)
- South Parking Lot – Corner of Blue Stone Rd and Mt. Vernon Hwy
- ADA Parking is available at the City Springs Parking Deck.
Rideshare/Public Transit:
Rideshare drop-off is located at 215 Johnson Ferry Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. For MARTA details, visit the City Springs website.
Road Closures:
- Mount Vernon Hwy (from Blue Stone Rd to Galambos Way) will be closed from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Blue Stone Rd. (from Galambos Way to Mount Vernon Hwy) will also be closed until 10:00 p.m.
