Caterpillars play a crucial role in our ecosystems, serving as vital components of biodiversity that sustain birds, pollinators, and wildlife. Alan Toney, a Master Naturalist, will discuss the significance of caterpillars, their survival strategies, and their diversity at this event. Attendees will learn how to appreciate and support caterpillars while managing their effects on ornamental plants and food crops.
