Community Bulletin: April Jazz Brunch Event
Orders for the April 12 jazz brunch must be placed by Friday, April 10 at noon. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Attendees will enjoy a brunch curated by Executive Chef Karl Elliott, featuring a menu to be announced. Bellinis, Bloody Marys, and Mimosas will be available for purchase.
Sandy Springs PAC has implemented All-In pricing, which includes the ticket price, facility fee, and taxes. A portion of the ticket sales supports facility maintenance.
The event will feature celebrated pianist Joe Alterman, who presents special musical guests each month. For the April event, the guests will be John Sandfort and Justin Powell.
John Sandfort’s debut recording, “Southbound,” showcases a mix of jazz standards and original compositions. His influences include notable figures from the Chicago jazz scene, and he seeks to convey the emotional depth of his inspirations through his performances.
Justin Powell, an Atlanta-based trumpeter, composer, and educator, has been active in the local music scene since 2013. He performs with The Terminus Horns and has collaborated with various prominent artists across multiple genres. Powell is recognized as a versatile session player, skilled in arranging horn parts for live performances and studio recordings.
