Event: Passport to Latin Social Dancing

Level: Beginner–Improver
Passport to Latin Social Dancing offers an inclusive Latin dance experience for individuals wishing to learn the foundations of social dance or enjoying movement to Latin rhythms. The course is structured to allow participants to drop in at any time or attend regularly to build confidence.
Instructor: Gran Maestra Phoenix
Schedule: Saturdays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Cost:
- $180 per person for the full 8-week course
- $25 for a single drop-in class
Throughout the program, students will engage in various Latin dance styles, including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha-Cha, and Argentine Tango, focusing on the essential aspects of confidence, connection, and communication.
Weekly Curriculum:
- Week 1: Salsa Essentials
- Week 2: Salsa Essentials
- Week 3: Salsa Essentials with Afro-Cuban Rumba & Styling Techniques
- Week 4: Salsa & Cha-Cha
- Week 5: Bachata & Merengue
- Week 6: Bachata & Merengue
- Week 7: Argentine Tango
- Week 8: Argentine Tango
