Description:
Passport to Latin Social Dancing offers a welcoming experience for individuals interested in learning the foundations of social dance and enjoying Latin rhythms. The course is structured to allow participants to drop in at any time or attend regularly to enhance their skills. The classes emphasize the 3 C’s of Latin Social Dancing—confidence, connection, and communication—while also covering essential techniques, musicality, and styling.
Instructor: Gran Maestra Phoenix
Schedule: Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Cost:
- $180 per person for the entire 8-week course
- $25 drop-in fee per class
Participants will learn various dance styles, including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha-Cha, and Argentine Tango. The curriculum is as follows:
- Week 1: Salsa Essentials
- Week 2: Salsa Essentials
- Week 3: Salsa Essentials with Afro-Cuban Rumba & Styling Techniques
- Week 4: Salsa & Cha-Cha
- Week 5: Bachata & Merengue
- Week 6: Bachata & Merengue
- Week 7: Argentine Tango
- Week 8: Argentine Tango
