Community Bulletin: Soccer Skills Camp
A soccer skills camp is being offered this summer, aimed at players aged 8-14, regardless of skill level. The camp will take place at Hammond Park Turf field, located at 705 Hammond Dr, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
Camp Schedule:
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Time: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Early Bird Option: Drop-off available starting at 7:30 am
- Instructor: Led by COSS Recreation Staff
- Cost: $85 per session
Program Features:
Participants can expect daily training sessions focused on:
- Technical Drills: Dribbling, passing accuracy, and ball control
- Striking & Scoring: Goal-kicking techniques and finishing drills
- Game Strategy: Understanding positions, spacing, and teamwork
- Daily Scrimmage: Competitive matches to test new skills
What to Bring:
Attendees should provide:
- A packed lunch and healthy snacks
- A large reusable water bottle for hydration
- Athletic shorts, t-shirts, and closed-toe shoes or soccer cleats
- Shin guards are recommended for daily play
