Program Overview:
Established in 1987, Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo offers instruction in Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do, focusing on authentic techniques and self-defense. The program emphasizes cooperation and respect, fostering individual development in a supportive environment suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners.
The Dojo does not teach sport karate; the training reflects traditional methods developed centuries ago. Moeller Sensei, who has over 30 years of experience in various martial arts, incorporates principles from T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Aikido. He is also the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
