The Lake Authority, a five-member board chaired by the elected Mayor, consists of four additional members appointed by the Mayor and Board. This group of citizens provides input and engagement in the operation, management, and development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority convenes monthly at the Acworth Community Center, located at 4361 Cherokee Street, on the first Monday at noon.
