STEAM Lab
Fernbank’s STEAM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) serves as the museum’s new hub for learning. The educational program offerings will connect scientific concepts with the arts and humanities to provide an engaging, hands-on learning environment designed to encourage guests to think innovatively, take risks, and exercise their imaginations.
The STEAM Lab is currently open to the public on weekends, school holidays, and for select programs during the week. Beginning temporarily on Feb. 9, access to the STEAM Lab will only be available through Fantastic Forces (located in the back left of the space) while the new Orkin Discovery Zone is under construction next door.
