The Mid-Career Retrospective of Amy Sherald, titled Amy Sherald: American Sublime, will showcase her largest exhibition of work to date at the High Museum of Art. Previously honored with the 2018 David C. Driskell Prize in African American Art and Art History, Sherald returned to the High with her work featured in The Obama Portraits Tour in 2022, including her portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama. This upcoming exhibition includes iconic pieces alongside more rarely displayed works from her career and marks the final venue on this exhibition tour.
Capacity is limited, and preregistration is mandatory. Interested individuals may register online or contact Member Services at 404-733-4575 (available Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.).
