The Atlanta Botanical Garden presents a series of live performances featuring some of Atlanta’s most cherished children’s musicians and storytellers. Performances are scheduled for Fridays from May through September at 10:00 and 10:45 a.m.
Ms. Patty, an accomplished musician and educator with over 27 years of experience, engages young audiences with her guitar and high-energy songs, making them ideal for getting children movin’ and groovin’. Originally from Michigan, Patty Simmons returns to share her playtime songs with Atlanta.
Attendance is free for Garden Members or with Admission; no reservations are required for shows.
- The program takes place on the Great Lawn, shaded by elm trees.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or ground cover as the grass may be damp in the morning.
- A program greeter will be available on the Great Lawn starting 10 minutes prior to each session.
In the event of rain, cold temperatures, or other inclement weather, the program may be canceled or relocated indoors. Updates can be obtained by emailing classes@atlantabg.org.
Shows for Seedlings are designed for children accompanied by an adult.
