On July 20, rising sixth through twelfth graders can immerse themselves in a week of musical theatre training at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre. The camp runs from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, offering young performers the opportunity to enhance their confidence and performance skills.
During this interactive program, students will learn essential audition strategies, improve their acting, vocal, and dance techniques, and develop strong performance habits. The week culminates in a special showcase at 3:30 PM on July 24, where participants can present what they’ve learned to family and friends.
To prepare for the first day, students are encouraged to bring a one-minute musical theatre song and wear comfortable clothing and shoes, as there’s a focus on movement and active scene work. The tuition for the camp is $180, with an early bird discount available for $140 until May 1, 2026.
For more information, visit the Strand Theatre’s website. The venue is located at 117 N Park Square, Marietta, GA.
