Event Listing: Literacy | Reading Buddies
Literacy | Reading Buddies is a community initiative designed to support children’s reading development through one-on-one mentoring. This program pairs volunteers with children to foster a love of reading and improve literacy skills.
The sessions will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, starting on October 3, 2023. The location is the Community Library, 123 Main Street, Anytown. Participation is free of charge, and the program is aimed at children ages 5 to 12.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children in advance to ensure a spot. Registration can be completed online at the library’s website or in person at the circulation desk.
