The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition will showcase Latinx and Hispanic artists. Titled “Puentes” (Bridges), this event highlights how Latin artists build understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and create pathways for dialogue through diverse forms of creative expression such as painting, photography, and sculpture. The exhibition emphasizes art as a bridge between various aspects of experience, including tradition and innovation, and individual stories and collective identity.
As a response to a time when communities can feel divided, “Puentes” reflects themes of connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange. A closing reception will take place on Friday, October 23rd, from 6 to 9 PM.
