The City of Acworth is hosting a touch-a-truck style event that will highlight local businesses and showcase various “Big Rigs” commonly seen on the roads. This back-to-school bash is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at Logan Farm Park. A “silent hour” will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., offering limited lights, sirens, and sounds to accommodate sensitive populations. Following this, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will feature all the lights, sirens, and horns typically associated with these vehicles. Food trucks will also be available on-site.
