The Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up is hosted by the Lake Allatoona Association and will occur on Saturday, October 3, at Cauble Park.
After a summer of recreational activities at the lake, this event aims to give back to the local environment. Participants can join the effort to clean the park, lake, and surrounding shoreline. Individuals with their own vessels are encouraged to bring them, while those without can rent paddleboards or kayaks from Murph’s Surf, which will be present at the event. For individuals preferring to stay on land, the Great Lake Clean Up Crew will facilitate park and shoreline cleaning. Further information can be found at Great Lake Clean Up – Lake Allatoona Association.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate, and breakfast will be provided by Acworth Lake Authority. Community members are encouraged to join this effort to prepare Cauble Park for the upcoming fall season.
