“Silent Night,” an opera by Kevin Puts with a libretto by Mark Campbell, will be presented by The Atlanta Opera. The performances are scheduled for November 7, 10, 13, and 15, 2026. Doors will open 90 minutes prior to each performance.
The opera portrays the true story of the Christmas truce during World War I, where soldiers from French, British, and German forces laid down their arms on Christmas Eve to sing carols and play soccer. Directed by Tomer Zvulun and conducted by Iván López Reynoso, this production has received acclaim in previous presentations, including awards at the Irish Times Theatre Awards.
